- Maximum Ratio - Younger 2's 4:1 or 8:2/Older 2's 10:2
- Centers - home living, manipulatives, puzzles, blocks, book corner
- Heavy emphasis on building communication skills, taking turns and sharing
- Art - variety of media introduced as well as scissors and glue
- Circle time for stories and finger plays where children are encouraged to participate
- Units of study focus on concepts such as colors, shapes, animals,
holidays, seasons, families, community helpers, etc.
- Mid morning snack of milk and crackers provided
- Covered playground for outdoor play designed for toddlers
- During inclement weather - indoor play in Fellowship hall with riding toys
- Children bring their own finger-food lunch and non-carbonated beverage.
- Rest time after lunch - children are not required to nap but must rest quietly
- Loveys and pacifiers are encouraged for rest time.
